Un grupo de jóvenes venezolanos inspirados en la gran marcha que se realizó a nivel mundial en contra de las FARC, decidió convocar a una Gran Marcha Mundial llamada: No más Chávez, con el fin de protestar en contra de su forma de hacer política, su intromisión internacional, sus continuos insultos a propios y extranjeros, su afán de perpetuarse en el poder y sus deseos delirantes de suceder en Latinoámerica al dictador Fidel Castro, para el próximo 11 de abril de 2008.
